Baseball Recap: Le Roy Comes Up Short

If Le Roy was feeling good fresh off their 15-2 takedown of Letchworth on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Oatkan Knights fell just short of the Dansville Mustangs by a score of 6-4 on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Oatkan Knights have suffered since April 23rd.

Le Roy saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brayden Chase, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one RBI.

Le Roy's loss dropped their record down to 10-5. As for Dansville, their win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-9.

Le Roy didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, an 8-7 defeat against Pavilion on the 17th. Dansville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
