Basketball Recap: Sydney Teoh Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Rocklin

St. Francis won the last time they faced Rocklin and things went their way on Tuesday too. The St. Francis Troubadours came out on top against the Rocklin Thunder by a score of 64-55. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Troubadours.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead St. Francis to victory, but perhaps none more so than Sydney Teoh, who posted 18 points and six steals. The contest was Teoh's third in a row with at least 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Laila Mendoza, who dropped a double-double with 14 points and ten rebounds.

Despite the loss, Rocklin still got an impressive performance from Bianca Slone, who dropped a double-double with 21 points and 13 boards. That's the most rebounds Slone has posted since back in December of 2023. Cara Murphy was another key player, putting up eight points.

St. Francis' record is now 11-14. As for Rocklin, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-15.

St. Francis didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 64-27 loss against Oak Ridge on the 7th. As for Rocklin, they have also already played their next game, a 57-37 win against Granite Bay on the 7th.
