Softball Recap: Calera Find Success

The Calera Bulldogs earned an 8-3 victory over the Bristow Pirates on Thursday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bulldogs.

Calera now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Bristow, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-13 record this season.

Calera will venture away from home to take on Asher at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Indians' pitching crew has only allowed 3.2 runs per game this season, so the Bulldogs' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Bristow, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 4-3 win against Wellston on the 19th.
