Softball Recap: Kellyville Extends Winning Streak to Three

Kellyville waltzed into their matchup on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They never let the Nowata Ironmen get on the board and left with a 9-0 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Ponies also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

The team relied heavily on Kallie Martin, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. Those two RBI gave her a new career-high. Bretlynn Hanson was another key player, earning one RBI, one run, and two stolen bases.

Kellyville's win bumped their record up to 12-9. As for Nowata, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-18.

Coming up, Kellyville will venture away from home to take on Caney Valley at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Nowata, they will welcome Ketchum at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
