Elkhorn South's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They blew past the Lincoln East Spartans 12-0. The Storm have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Spartans, too.

Lauren Schneider made a splash while hitting and pitching. She pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Schneider was also big at the plate, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

In other batting news, Ollie Songster was excellent, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. Another player making a difference was Macy Schneider, who went 2-for-3 with three runs and one RBI.

Elkhorn South always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .625. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Lincoln East only posted an OBP of .182.

The victory got Elkhorn South back to even at 1-1. As for Lincoln East, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 1-1.

Elkhorn South wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 20-9 win against Fremont on the 22nd. As for Lincoln East, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat against Millard West on the 22nd.
