Soccer Recap: San Rafael Snaps Five-Game Streak of Wins at Home

San Rafael lost against Branson back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The San Rafael Bulldogs lost 7-0 to the Branson Bulls. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 551st, while the Bulls are ranked 51st).

San Rafael's defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-5. As for Branson, they pushed their record up to 13-2-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

San Rafael has already played their next game (against Tamalpais), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Branson will challenge Sonoma Academy at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Sonoma Academy will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Branson surely won't give up without a fight.
