Softball Recap: Colo-NESCO Comes Up Short

Colo-NESCO was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They took a 10-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the North Tama Redhawks. The Royals were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Redhawks earlier this season, when they won 13-12.

Colo-NESCO's loss dropped their record down to 3-17. As for North Tama, with the victory, they broke their seven-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-11.

Colo-NESCO didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 5-4 win against WACO on the 28th. As for North Tama, they will take on BCLUW at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Comets' pitching crew has only allowed 3.2 runs per game this season, so the Redhawks' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
