Central Virginia Homeschool Athletic Association put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on the Isle of Wight Academy Chargers with a sharp 3-0 win. That's more bragging rights for the Patriots, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-10, 25-17.

Nadia Jastrzemski paced Central Virginia Homeschool Athletic Association's offense, picking up nine kills. Jastrzemski were helped by Emma Smith and Ryann Owensby, who contributed 15 assists each. Ellisyn Edwards controlled things from the service line, finishing with eight aces.

When it comes to explaining why Isle of Wight Academy lost, don't look at Christina Petruzalek. Despite the final result, she had ten digs and one block. Petruzalek is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Central Virginia Homeschool Athletic Association's victory bumped their record up to 13-0. As for Isle of Wight Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-6.

Coming up, Central Virginia Homeschool Athletic Association will venture away from home to challenge Steward at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Isle of Wight Academy, they will head out to square off against Norfolk Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
