Northwest can bid farewell to their seven-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 17-1 margin over the Parkway North Vikings. That looming 17-1 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Lions yet this season.

The team relied heavily on Maddie Mulkey, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with three RBI and one run. Another player making a difference was Melina Lang, who got on base in two of her three plate appearances with two runs and two RBI.
