Soccer Recap: Bleckley County Comes Up Short

After flying high against Northeast last Monday, Bleckley County came back down to earth. The Bleckley County Royals fell just short of the Central Chargers by a score of 2-1 on Thursday. One reason for the loss might be the Royals' aggressive play style: Jonah Kelley and Connor Cairney were both handed yellow cards.

Bleckley County's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Central, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 1-5.

Coming up, Bleckley County will square off against Fitzgerald at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Central, they will face off against Dublin at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
