Basketball Recap: San Jacinto Valley Academy Extends Road Winning Streak to Three

San Jacinto Valley Academy had won two straight road games and Kaahliyah Lacy did her part to make it three on Wednesday. The San Jacinto Valley Academy Wolves were the clear victor by a 47-27 margin over the California Military Institute Rough Riders thanks in part to Lacy, who dropped a triple-double on 21 points, 14 boards, and ten steals. Her evening made it four games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points.

Another player making a difference was Samantha Moore, who went 6 of 14 en route to 16 points. That's the most points she has posted since back in December of 2023.

San Jacinto Valley Academy's win bumped their record up to 11-7. As for California Military Institute, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-9.

San Jacinto Valley Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 59-18 victory against Santa Rosa Academy on the 24th. California Military Institute has also already played their next game, a 44-40 win against Hamilton on the 24th.
