Baseball Game Preview: Ross Rams vs. Monroe Hornets

The Ross Rams will head out to square off against the Monroe Hornets at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Having struggled with five defeats in a row, Ross turned things around against Fairfield on Tuesday. They blew past the Indians 7-1. The Rams not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since April 10th (when they won 11-4).

Meanwhile, Monroe unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Monday. They and Turpin finished up their game with a 5-5 tie.

Monroe's tie makes their record 16-4-1 this season. As for Ross, their victory bumped their record up to 6-11.

Ross couldn't quite get it done against Monroe in their previous meeting on May 1st as they fell 5-0. Can the Rams avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
