Basketball Recap: Jocelyn Goldstein's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Masterman over Pequea Valley

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Masterman can now relate to. They came up short against the Pequea Valley Braves on Friday, falling 61-39. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat Masterman has suffered since December 9, 2024.

Masterman lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Jocelyn Goldstein, who posted 15 points. Her big performance that evening made it ten games in a row in which she has scored at least 15 points. Sophia Brunelli was another key player, putting up ten points.

This is the second loss in a row for Masterman and nudges their season record down to 12-12. As for Pequea Valley, their win bumped their record up to 19-2.
