Basketball Recap: Cedar Crest Takes a Loss

Cedar Crest lost against Lebanon back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Cedar Crest Falcons came up short against the Lebanon Cedars, falling 58-34. While losing is never fun, the Falcons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 135th, while the Cedars are ranked 42nd).

Cedar Crest has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season. As for Lebanon, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-1.

Cedar Crest will be home for the holidays to greet Wilson at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Lebanon, they will venture away from home to face off against Cardinal O'Hara at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Lebanon's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four games.
