Sacramento Country Day unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They lost 6-0 to the Western Sierra Collegiate Academy Wolves on Monday. The loss continues a trend for the Cavaliers in their meetings with Wolves: they've now lost five in a row.

The win made it two in a row for Western Sierra Collegiate Academy and bumps their season record up to 2-0-1.

Coming up, Sacramento Country Day will face off against John Adams Academy - El Dorado Hills at 5:00 p.m. on March 18th. As for Western Sierra Collegiate Academy, they will challenge Delta at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
