They really took it to the International Leadership of Texas Lancaster-DeSoto Eagles for the full four quarters, racking up a 79-2 victory. The win continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won five in a row.

Leading Newman International Academy to victory were Noah Palmer and JB Brown. Palmer shot 69% from the field en route to 21 points and three steals, while Brown made all 6 shots he took to post 14 points along with six assists and four steals. Another player making a difference was Emanuel Ross, who posted five points in addition to seven boards and six steals.

Newman International Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've posted since the start of last season.

The victory got Newman International Academy back to even at 1-1.

Coincidentally, Newman International Academy and International Leadership of Texas Lancaster-DeSoto will both be playing ILTexas Arlington the next time they take the court. The Warriors will head out to face the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, while the Eagles will host them at 7:00 p.m. on December 10.
