La Jolla won the last time they faced Canyon Crest Academy and things went their way on Tuesday too. The La Jolla Vikings were the clear victor by a 43-23 margin over the Canyon Crest Academy Ravens. The Vikings have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 20 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead La Jolla to victory, but perhaps none more so than Soila Chadwick, who went 6 for 14 en route to 15 points. Loiola Payas Gomez-Arrue also deserves some recognition as she posted her first block of the season.

La Jolla smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in 14 consecutive matchups.

Despite the loss, Canyon Crest Academy still got an impressive performance from Thrisha Boopathi, who posted eight points. The team also got some help courtesy of Disha Ramachandron, who scored four points.

La Jolla is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.2 points per game. As for Canyon Crest Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.

La Jolla wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 37-33 victory against San Diego on the 10th. Canyon Crest Academy has also already played their next matchup, a 62-22 defeat against Torrey Pines on the 10th.
