Montagus Phillips was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has become a key player for Southwest DeKalb: the team is 4-1 when he allows at most three hits, but 3-7 otherwise. Phillips was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with five RBI, one run, and one double. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in RBI.
