Creede proved they can win big last Saturday (they won by three) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They won by a set and slipped past the Mountain Valley Wolves 2-1. The win continues a trend for the Miners in their matchups with the Wolves: they've now won five in a row.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Creede got the one that really mattered. The final score came out to 25-23, 20-25, 15-8.

Creede's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Mountain Valley, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Creede didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Antonito on the 6th. As for Mountain Valley, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against Cripple Creek-Victor on the 13th.
