Baseball Recap: Ridgeland Comes Up Short

Ridgeland fell victim to Northwest Whitfield and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 10-0 to the Bruins. The Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bruins apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2022.

Ridgeland has also been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-11 record this season. As for Northwest Whitfield, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 12-10.

While Ridgeland had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
