Soccer Game Preview: Rosemont vs. Galt

The Rosemont Wolverines will be playing at home against the Galt Warriors at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Rosemont saw some tournament action on Wednesday. They and Monterey Trail finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw. The outcome might've been different if Elena Espindola hadn't been hit with a yellow card, which no doubt limited her ability to make aggressive plays down the stretch.

Rosemont's goal came courtesy of Taaliyah Brown, who's now up to four this season.

Meanwhile, Galt fell victim to Cosumnes Oaks and their airtight defense on Thursday. They came up short against the Wolfpack, falling 6-0.

Galt now has a losing record at 1-2. With that draw, Rosemont's record moves to 4-3-2.
