Softball Recap: Holyoke Comes Up Short

Holyoke lost against Florence back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Dragons came up short against the Huskies, falling 21-10. The Dragons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Holyoke's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Florence, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 5-1.

Looking ahead, Holyoke will take on Burlington in a tournament on Saturday. As for Florence, they will challenge Wray/Yuma at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Huskies' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Eagles have averaged an impressive 6.1 runs per game this season.
