After only two runs in their last match, Pierce County made sure to put some runs up on the board against Lanier County on Saturday. The Bears walked away with a 10-6 win over the Bulldogs. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Bears' hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.

Pierce County's victory bumped their record up to 9-6. As for Lanier County, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-4.

Pierce County has already played their next game, an 11-0 win against Crisp County on the 9th. As for Lanier County, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 12-0 victory against Brooks County on the 9th.
