Meanwhile, Fitzgerald also failed to score in their most recent game. They lost 6-0 to Thomasville on Friday. The Purple Hurricane have struggled against the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meetings.

Brantley County's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Fitzgerald, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-3.
