Softball Game Preview: Centerville Big Reds/Redettes vs. Clarke Indians

The Centerville Big Reds/Redettes will face off against the Clarke Indians at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Clarke took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Centerville, who comes in off a win.

Centerville will bounce into Monday's contest after beating Knoxville, who they had gone 1-7-1 against in their nine prior meetings. The Big Reds/Redettes came out on top in a nail-biter against the Panthers on Friday, sneaking past 8-6.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Clarke's offense. They fell just short of Davis County by a score of 2-0 on Friday. The Indians just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Centerville's win bumped their record up to 10-7. As for Clarke, their loss dropped their record down to 5-10.

Centerville skirted past Clarke 7-6 in their previous matchup on June 2nd. Do the Big Reds/Redettes have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Indians turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
