Baseball Recap: Cambridge Takes a Loss

Cambridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 5-1 to the Blessed Trinity Titans. The game marked the Bears' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Cambridge's loss dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Blessed Trinity, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 12-2.

Cambridge and Blessed Trinity should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings. Cambridge will take on Westminster at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday up 163 places (128 vs. 291). Similarly, Blessed Trinity (ranked first) will meet Kell (ranked 25th) at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
