Basketball Recap: Pender Makes It 16 in a Row on the Road

Pender had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 20.5 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Tuesday. They walked away with a 53-44 win over the Guardian Angels Central Catholic Bluejays. This was payback for the Pendragons, who suffered a 62-55 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Pender's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Madalyn Dolliver, who dropped a double-double with 21 points and ten rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Maya Dolliver, who posted 14 points along with six assists and six boards.

Pender's victory was their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 22-2. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 32.1 points. As for Guardian Angels Central Catholic, their loss dropped their record down to 15-4.
