Baseball Game Preview: Pitman Panthers vs. Woodstown Wolverines

The Pitman Panthers will venture away from home to take on the Woodstown Wolverines at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Wednesday, Pitman sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over Clayton.

Pitman's victory was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Carter Snyder, who went 1-for-4 with one stolen base.

Meanwhile, Woodstown entered their tilt with Buena on Saturday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They put the hurt on the Chiefs with a sharp 15-6 win.

Woodstown's victory bumped their record up to 15-7-1. As for Pitman, their win bumped their record up to 8-14.

Pitman skirted past Woodstown 3-1 in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. Will the Panthers repeat their success, or do the Wolverines have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
