Recap: Stone Ridge Christian Knights vs. Turlock Christian Eagles
In what's become a running theme this season, the Stone Ridge Christian Knights gave their fans yet another huge victory on Tuesday. They breezed by Turlock Christian at home to the tune of 55-17. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 35-6.
Leading Stone Ridge Christian to victory were Cali Cole and Bella Ewing. Cole scored 19 points, while Ewing scored 22 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which Ewing has scored at least a third of Stone Ridge Christian's points.
Stone Ridge Christian has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season. As for Turlock Christian, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-13.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Stone Ridge Christian won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Westlake Charter at 5:30 p.m. on January 10th. Westlake Charter will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive. Turlock Christian's road trip will continue as they head out to face Millennium at 6:30 p.m. on January 12th.
