Softball Recap: Casady Comes Up Short

Casady fell victim to Heritage Hall and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Chargers. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Cyclones' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Casady has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season. As for Heritage Hall, the win keeps them at an undefeated 20-0.

Looking ahead, Casady will head out on the road to take on Little Axe at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Heritage Hall will be paying especially close attention to the Cyclones' game: after the Cyclones face off against Marlow, they'll take on Heritage Hall again at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
