Softball Recap: Unity Christian Drops Highest Score of Season Against Western Christian

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Unity Christian). They blew past the Western Christian Wolfpack 14-1 on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Knights, who have now won seven games by eight runs or more so far this season.

Unity Christian has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.8 runs over those games. As for Western Christian, they are on a 13-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-12.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Unity Christian will welcome MOC-Floyd Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Western Christian, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Trinity Christian at 7:30 p.m.
