Soccer Recap: Sherman Oaks CES Comes Up Short

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Sherman Oaks CES couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They came up short against the Huntington Park Spartans on Monday, falling 3-0. The shutout was out of character for the Knights seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in January.

Sherman Oaks CES' defeat dropped their record down to 10-4. As for Huntington Park, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-13.

Sherman Oaks CES does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Huntington Park, they will face off against Sylmar at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Sylmar will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Huntington Park surely won't give up without a fight.
