Softball Recap: Liberty County Takes a Loss

Liberty County couldn't beat Bryan County on Monday even though they stacked four runs on them in the second inning. The Panthers came up short against the Redskins, falling 17-6. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Aeriela Jemison was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Brighton Harpe, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Liberty County's loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Bryan County, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Liberty County will take on Islands at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bryan County, they will venture away from home to square off against McIntosh County Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
