Basketball Recap: Pitman Takes a Loss

Pitman lost against Gregori back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Pitman Pride were dealt a 51-12 defeat at the hands of the Gregori Jaguars. The Pride were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-2.

Gregori can attribute much of their success to Alanah Lopez, who went 8-for-15 en route to 18 points. The dominant performance also gave Lopez a new career-high in blocks (two). Another player making a difference was Veronica Whitten, who posted four points along with eight steals and five rebounds.

Pitman's loss dropped their record down to 11-16. As for Gregori, the win was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 19-9.

As of now, neither Pitman nor Gregori have any future games scheduled.
