Baseball Game Preview: Emanuel County Institute Bulldogs vs. Wilcox County Patriots

The Emanuel County Institute Bulldogs will take on the Wilcox County Patriots on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Emanuel County Institute comes in on three and Wilcox County on seven.

Emanuel County Institute is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. They blew past Charlton County 8-1. Considering the Bulldogs have won 15 contests by more than six runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Wilcox County sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over Baconton Charter on Wednesday.

Wilcox County saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tre Griffin, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Emanuel County Institute's victory bumped their record up to 28-7. As for Wilcox County, their win bumped their record up to 24-7.

Emanuel County Institute might still be hurting after the 16-1 loss they got from Wilcox County when the teams last played back in April of 2019. Can the Bulldogs avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
