Football Recap: Northwest Comes Up Short + How To Watch

It was a proper cat-fight when Northwest duked it out with Paint Branch on Friday. The Jaguars lost 27-7 to the Panthers. The Jaguars were not able to make up for their defeat to the Panthers from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

When it comes to explaining why Northwest lost, don't look at Isaiah Taylor. Despite the final result, he rushed for 164 yards.

Alijah Bah produced another solid performance rushing for 148 yards and a pair of TDs, while also throwing for six yards and one touchdown for Paint Branch.

Northwest's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Paint Branch, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.

Northwest didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 37-7 victory against Gaithersburg on the 3rd. As for Paint Branch, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, an 18-0 win against Bethesda-Chevy Chase on the 3rd.
