Baseball Recap: Jacobs Comes Up Short

Jacobs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Saint Viator Lions, falling 9-3. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lions apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Jacobs saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brock Vincent, who went 2-for-3 with one double.

Jacobs' defeat dropped their record down to 18-11. As for Saint Viator, their record is now 23-10-1.

Jacobs wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 19-3 victory against Marian Central Catholic on the 20th. As for Saint Viator, they have also already played their next contest, a 12-1 win against Lake Park on the 23rd.
