Salinas's game on Thursday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They blew past the Monterey Dores 3-0. The Cowboys might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matchups by three goals or more this season.

Kate Nunes and Delilah Vega-Aguilar scored all three of Salinas' goals, bringing their combined season tally to 16 goals.

Salinas pushed their record up to 6-1-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those three contests. As for Monterey, their loss dropped their record down to 4-2.
