Basketball Recap: Jules E. Mastbaum Vo-Tech Takes a Loss

Jules E. Mastbaum Vo-Tech was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the Franklin Towne Warriors and fell 40-7. That's two games in a row now that the Panthers have lost by exactly 33 points.

Jules E. Mastbaum Vo-Tech's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Allison Barner, who posted two points along with seven rebounds and three steals, and Aymar Camacho, who earned two points and four blocks. With that strong performance, Camacho is now averaging an impressive 2.1 blocks per game.

Franklin Towne found their leader in freshman Makayla Cruz, who scored 12 points. Disaya Pinkney was another key player, putting up seven points.

Jules E. Mastbaum Vo-Tech's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Franklin Towne, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-7.
