Soccer Recap: Rio Linda Extends Winning Streak to Three

Rio Linda hadn't done well against Casa Roble recently (they were 0-6-1 in their previous seven matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Rio Linda Knights never let the Casa Roble Rams onto the board and left with a 1-0 win. That's two games straight that the Knights have won by just one goal.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Alexa Navarro, who's now up to two this season.

The victory (which was Rio Linda's third in a row) raised their record to 9-9-3. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored eight goals over those three matchups. As for Casa Roble, they now have a losing record at 3-4-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rio Linda will venture away from home to take on Sutter at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Casa Roble, they will head out to face off against Dixon at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
