Preview: Fowler Redcats vs. Chowchilla Tribe
The Fowler Redcats will head out on the road to take on the Chowchilla Tribe at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Fowler has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
Fowler put the finishing touches on their ninth blowout victory of the season on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Fresno Christian with a sharp 58-37 victory.
Meanwhile, Chowchilla unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a serious blow against Caruthers, falling 82-17. Chowchilla was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 50-9.
Shalaya Moore was Chowchilla's leading scorer, having posted four points.
Nour Escheik held things down on the boards with nine rebounds.
Fowler's win bumped their record up to 15-11. As for Chowchilla, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-10.
Everything came up roses for Fowler against Chowchilla in their previous meeting back in December of 2023 as the squad secured a 54-24 victory. Will Fowler repeat their success, or does Chowchilla have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
