Soccer Game Preview: Clayton Valley Charter vs. Alhambra

Clayton Valley Charter and Alhambra are an even 2-2-5 against one another since January of 2019, but likely not for long. The Clayton Valley Charter Ugly Eagles will be playing in front of their home fans against the Alhambra Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Clayton Valley Charter is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.9 goals per game this season.

Clayton Valley Charter is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to five goals on Saturday, they were much more limited against Northgate on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Broncos by a score of 2-1.

Clayton Valley Charter's goal came courtesy of Ava Jara, who's now up to 13 this season.

Meanwhile, Alhambra and Las Lomas finished up their contest with a 2-2 draw on Tuesday.

With that draw, Alhambra's record moves to 4-5-3. As for Clayton Valley Charter, their loss dropped their record down to 7-3-3.

Clayton Valley Charter came out on top in a nail-biter against Alhambra in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, sneaking past 1-0. Will Clayton Valley Charter repeat their success, or does Alhambra have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
