Recap: Riverview Raiders vs. Propel Braddock Hills
The Riverview Raiders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five contests by 27 points or more this season. They breezed by Propel Braddock Hills on the road to the tune of 52-10. Winning may never get old, but Riverview sure is getting used to it with their fifth in a row.
Leading Riverview to victory were Lola Abraham and Katerina Tsambis. Abraham scored ten points along with six assists and three steals, while Tsambis scored 12 points along with six steals and five rebounds. Abraham is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Lily Hood, who scored five points.
Riverview's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Propel Braddock Hills, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.
Riverview will finish 2023 at home by hosting Deer Lakes at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Propel Braddock Hills will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Neighborhood Academy at 3:30 p.m. on January 11, 2024.
