Griff Harper put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in April on Thursday. He struck out five batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off six hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

Harper's strong effort led Chapin over West Florence and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
