Softball Recap: Southeast Whitfield County Comes Up Short

The Southeast Whitfield County Raiders came up short against the North Murray Mountaineers on Wednesday and fell 7-2.

Southeast Whitfield County's loss was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-5. As for North Murray, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Southeast Whitfield County will square off against Hiram at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for North Murray, they will venture away from home to challenge Coahulla Creek at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
