Basketball Recap: Deseret Peak Comes Up Short

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 53-25, which was the final score in the Deseret Peak Golden Eagles's tilt against the Uintah Utes on Friday.

Uintah's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Adam Wallis led the charge by dropping a double-double with ten points and ten rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaybin Secakuku, who posted nine points.

Deseret Peak's loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Deseret Peak has already played their next game, an 81-54 defeat against Park City on the 24th. As for Uintah, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 74-49 victory against Tooele on the 22nd.
