Selma is a perfect 10-0 against Immanuel since May of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Bears will challenge the Eagles at 6:00 p.m. Selma's last three matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Selma is headed into Wednesday's matchup following a draw, the team's first since December 5. They and Washington Union finished up their contest with a 2-2 draw on Friday.

Despite a strong season so far, Immanuel has seen their luck take a bit of a downturn recently. They came up short against Reedley on Friday, falling 6-2. Olivia Gutierrez was hit with a yellow card, which may have had some impact on her (and the team's) ability to make aggressive plays.

Ellyann Thomas wasn't going to let Reedley walk away unscathed as she scored both of Immanuel's goals, bringing her season total up to 16 goals.

Selma's draw makes their record 6-3-2 this season. As for Immanuel, their loss dropped their record down to 11-6-2.

Everything went Selma's way against Immanuel in their previous matchup back in January of 2025, as Selma made off with a 4-1 win. Will the Bears repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
