Football Recap: Chambers Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Chambers had lost four straight at home, but on Friday they dropped down to 4-5 to make it five. They were beaten by the West Charlotte Lions 37-0. The matchup marked the first time this season in which the Cougars were not able to get on the board.

As for West Charlotte, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 7-2. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by 21 points or more this season.

Jamouri Nichols was his usual excellent self, rushing for 37 yards and one touchdown, while also throwing for 119 yards and one TD.

Chambers didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 31-0 defeat against Mallard Creek on the 30th. As for West Charlotte, they have also already played their next matchup, a 43-0 victory against North Mecklenburg on the 30th.
