Soccer Game Preview: Morro Bay vs. Nipomo

Morro Bay hasn't had much luck against Nipomo recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Morro Bay Pirates will be playing in front of their home fans against the Nipomo Titans at 6:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Morro Bay is headed into Tuesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Friday. They came up short against Templeton, falling 6-1. That's two games in a row now that the Pirates have lost by exactly five goals.

Meanwhile, Nipomo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 4-0 to Santa Maria. While losing is never fun, the Titans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 991st, while the Saints are ranked 179th).

Morro Bay's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9-1. As for Nipomo, their loss dropped their record down to 0-14-1.
