If Pace Academy was feeling good fresh off their 14-0 takedown of Midtown on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Knights came up short against the Lee County Trojans on Saturday, falling 10-3. The Knights' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Pace Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Lee County, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 10-4-1.

Coming up, Pace Academy will be taking part in a tournament against Gilmer at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Lee County, they will square off against Central at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Lions' pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so the Trojans' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
